It might still be on your computer, in which case it would work for you but not someone else. Upload it again, and let's see if we can access it then. :D

I'm happy to see that some folks have provided a more thought out argument than what I generally see generated by this kind of a topic.

I don't think that we should particularly say that one is better than the other because one only has to look a little ways to see that both are flooded with the mediocre and copy-cat series, while only the true gems stand out.

And though I've seen some of the folks here commenting about Disney's lack of advancement toward a more adult audience, I can't say I agree. I'm rather happy that, at least in their theatrical productions, they've kept a lighter, more innocent theme. I think there's a different kind of mature audience that would like to continue going to a movie just to admire the art and enjoy the story meant for a more generalized demographic. I'm not ashamed to say I still go to G and PG movies and enjoy them, a lot of times, more so than those animated productions made for so-called "mature" audiences only, be they of Japanese or American origin.

I do have to admit that while I'm not fond of such cartoons as "Spongebob," "Southpark," "Ed, Edd, and Eddy," and the like, I have been rather impressed by Avatar, Teen Titans (as silly as that may sound), and some of the other more plot-centered American-made cartoons out there. T'is true that the Japanese have opened our eyes and showed us that cartoons can be more than just for kids, and with that, I think American cartoons have gotten better. I think the concept of a running plot throughout a series has given American cartoons another level to develop from. I also think that as this audience generation gets older, we'll see more American cartoons made for older audiences that have comparatively creative story lines and artwork.

Congratulations, Kokujindesu! :D

Ooooh! Monthly display is back up, eh? I'll have to see if I can't throw in something again...

Hmmm... I go for number 4. It's simple and cute while maintaining what DSC is about.

#3 has a big watermark on it that makes it a bit annoying to look at. Were it not for that...

Congrats!

Athletics and politics should not be mixed. You say that several other countries have been banned from the games in the past because of crimes their government made? And that justifies continuing to ban a country from the games? The whole purpose of learning about past events is to learn from them. So instead of complaining about it, we should do something about it. Continuing to ban a nation's athletes (even if they're from our own country) from internationally open games only proves that we've not learned our lesson, no?

Yeah, I've been checking my page off and on, and many of the images in my gallery aren't showing up. When I click on my profile it shows a couple of the missing images, but they disappear when I go into my gallery itself.

Wow. A lot of Tae Kwon Do people on here. :)

I've been doing martial Arts for about 11-12 years. I've done two forms of Tae Kwon Do, Shotokan Karate, and am currently learning Okinawan Kenpo. It's been fun, I prefer karate and kenpo because I have short legs and like the ground more than the air. :) My brothers prefer TKD. I also have a friend who does Goju Ryu and is loving it.

The costs of training vary with the school. Some places get you into clubs that are $$$. Some go month to month. I couldn't give you a fair price, though, because most of my family is in it (5 people).

hmmm.. I was sitting at my desk and noticed a little ballpoint pen from Wendy's and just kinda thought of windyroller. That was about 5 years ago.

Quote by Suicide-Demon I'm one of those who thinks that Harry Potter s***s.
I've read the first two books and I thought they were kinda crappy...
Artemis Fowl is much better, 'cause he's something like a anti-hero. and the stories of Eoin Colfer are much better than the ones from J. K. R.

Ok, if you've only read the first two or three books and thought they were for kids, that's why. The first couple of books were written for Harry's age at that time. The series gets a whole lot better on the third book and books 5 and 6 get a LOT more in-depth. The story matures as the characters themselves mature. If you just don't like reading, try books on CD.

I know, I know. 1,858 objects found in my query on deviantart and still I am not satisfied. But thank you for suggesting it. I'd forgotten about that site.

What I'm looking for is a European-style (medieval, however you want to call them) dragon that's not just been blown up and stretched out of proportion to fit the screen. A wallpaper that has the same qualities we find here. *gestures at some of the anime walls in the favs sections*

Practice is definitely the best way to get a hang of hands. Look closely at as many different positions of the hand as possible. (Another use for beautiful anime pictures!) Mom used to look at me funny when I would sit and stare at other people's hands. Oh, www.polykarbon.com has some pretty decent tutorials. Still, the best way is to observe and try to duplicate. Practice, practice, practice!

f

Hey
My little brother and I got to looking around on the net and couldn't find many decent walls of dragons. -_- Does anyone know where I can find some?

Quote by Miroku4444: I wonder if harry and whats her name will become bf and gf?

Ummm.... "what's her name" is not very helpful. Near the end of the sixth book, however, it tells whom becomes Harry's gf. But we digress from the topic.

Personally, I really enjoy the Harry Potter book series. The HP book 5 was my favorite thus far. The movies in general have struck me as wanting in some parts, but I understand that because of the size of the books and the subject matter, there were definitely things they had to leave out. And although I've most often heard otherwise, my favorite of the movies was PRizoner of Azkaban, mainly because it wasn't quite so by-the-book, which I'm normally against. It was a little awkward to see the characters moving so freely through a completely different set, but again, the movie on the whole left me without that feeling of something missing. The fourth movie was decent, but wouldn't make as much sense if I hadn't already read the book, methinks.
So, yes, I like Harry Potter.

f

Agreed. Kagome is too annoying to end up with someone so calm and collected as Shesshoumaru-sama. *smileys to all the Kagome lovers out there* Inuyasha needs someone who can put him in his place. *sit boy!*

I love much of the music from .hack, gundam, and sailor moon. Cowboy Bebop also has some good songs, among my favs are "real folk blues" and "blue." I love much of the final fantasies' music and out of kh, my favs are "simple and clean" and "hollow bastion". there are a couple of sites that do remixes of anime and game music...

Dousoukai

I don't know if it's a manga or anime, but it's out there.
